I’m not a great painter but I do enjoy daubing the odd watercolour. So here goes with one I finished tonight and one I started and finished tonight.
The first one is a view from the window of a cottage we stayed at last Christmas in Lavenham Suffolk. The second is my lovely Raven looking out over Lake Erie in Cleveland back in March.
I have finally got around to sorting out an ISBN number for my latest book. It is 978-1-4461-6752-6.
It should pop up on Amazon soon but if you wish to buy it please use Lulu.com, Amazon seem to want to charge £6 extra per copy (of which I receive none)
If you do buy it enjoy and let me know what you think.
Did I mention that it is published in A4 format and is a beautiful addition to any coffee table as all of the cover art is done by me on this one.
Also don’t forget that my first novel LOVE SEX AND TIME TRAVEL. is also available on Lulu and Amazon….Enjoy.
I’ve tasted the salt of your tears
Been there when you didn’t want me.
Held you when sleep wouldn’t come
And everything hurt
Touched you and whispered in nights silence
Kissed you in morning brightness
Welcomed you home. Said goodbye. Said hello
When you thought you were alone.
But you never were.
My arms were always there.
My kisses are ever for your sadness
Your need for love and dreams
And the world is always before us
It’s unfairness and sour unkindness
It’s dislike of us
We dared to be alive … and in love.
We chose each other….we found our touchstone
Our chalice. Our reckoning.
And far away.Listening to songs of stars and tears
Thinking of wine and roses
Thinking of your taste
Nights alone and far far away
Feeling your hands
And kisses when you thought I slept
On briefly known pillows
In such happiness.
